Charlie Page has been
self-employed for over 17 years
and has over 25 years of sales
experience. During his sales
career he was the #1 National
sales rep for two International
companies.
Charlie owned two offline businesses,
the last being a direct mail marketing
company, which he owned and operated
for six years. He has sold and written
copy for radio, newspaper and direct
mail marketing companies.
Charlie took the plunge and went
completely online three years ago
working as a ghostwriter (copywriter).
His clients have included well-known
Internet marketers, people wanting to
increase their sales conversion rate,
as well as people just starting their
online careers.
After a considerable time of working
with Ruth Townsend as a consultant and
copywriter, Charlie purchased the
Directory of Ezines from Ruth in 2002,
enabling her to achieve her long term
goal of retirement.
He currently owns several profitable
web sites including CharliePage.com
(copywriting) Directory of Ezines (the
web's first ezine directory) and
Instant Ezines, where he provides
ready-made ezines for an affordable
price.
Charlie writes his own weekly ezine,
the DOE Insider, and lives in Texas
with his wife and two
daughters.
Ruth
Townsend
On October 25, 1996,
after 18 years in the same
company, Ruth placed her keys and
security card on her desk at
11:06 and claimed her freedom!
She has not regretted it or
looked back once. Tired of the
politics, the back-stabbing and
feeling like a number instead of
a "player" on the team, Ruth
knew there was a better
way.
After trying to find ezines in which to
advertise, she realized that no
comprehensive, quality list existed.
The Directory of Ezines was born!
The first ezine directory on the
Net, Ruth dedicated herself to
finding quality ezines in which members
could buy ads that would get
results.
Today the Directory of
Ezines continues to be the most
comprehensive listing of quality
ezines available on the Internet.
Ruth is retired and works with
her son in the home construction
business in
Florida.
